Meet Coco: Our First Kennel Klub Member in Nigeria!

The Rotary PolioPlus Society Kennel Klub has a new reason to wag our tails—Coco has joined as our very first member living in Nigeria!

Coco calls Port Harcourt, in Rotary District 9141, home, but her Kennel Klub membership began far from her doorstep. She was enrolled during the Zones 26 & 27 Rotary Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, USA—a wonderful example of how Rotary connections bring our worldwide Kennel Klub family together.

Friendly, passionate, and smart, Coco is already looking the part in her red End Polio Now bandana. Just look at that sweet face! We’re delighted to welcome her and see Nigeria represented in our growing family of animal companions helping support a polio-free world.

And Coco is just getting started. She is preparing for World Polio Day 2026, so keep an eye out for this new member as she gets ready to help put the spotlight on ending polio. We look forward to sharing more of her story and cheering her on from around the world.

Every new member brings another connection, another story, and another opportunity to share our mission. Coco’s welcome is a special milestone, and we hope she inspires more friends in Nigeria to join the Kennel Klub.

Welcome to the family, Coco! From Phoenix to Port Harcourt, we’re united by one goal: End Polio Now. 🐾❤️
