A Rolling Tribute to People and their Pets on a Mission to End Polio

6/17/2026

The Rotary PolioPlus Society Kennel Klub is proud to unveil a very special addition to our family—a 48-foot trailer that celebrates the incredible pets and people who are helping Rotary create a polio-free world.

Wrapped from front to back with images of Kennel Klub members and their humans from around the globe, this trailer is more than just a piece of equipment. It is a moving tribute to the compassion, generosity, and dedication of animal lovers who have united behind Rotary’s mission to End Polio Now.

Today, the PolioPlus Society Kennel Klub includes 372 members across 12 countries, representing dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, chinchillas, ferrets, donkeys, horses, sheep, alpacas, fish, and many other beloved companions. Every member has a story, and many of those stories are now proudly displayed on this one-of-a-kind trailer.

As it travels throughout Southern California, the trailer will help spread awareness of Rotary’s fight against polio while showcasing the special bond between pets and the people who love them. Whether traveling through ports, warehouses, distribution centers, or highways, it serves as a reminder that ordinary people—and their extraordinary pets—can make a difference in the lives of children around the world.

This remarkable project was generously sponsored by Greg and Valerie Owen, proud supporters of the PolioPlus Society Kennel Klub and devoted parents of our founder, Mollie.

Greg Owen serves as Head Coach of Ability Tri-Modal Transportation Services, a Carson, California-based transportation and logistics company that has graciously integrated the trailer into its daily operations. Through Ability Tri-Modal’s support, this rolling tribute will travel thousands of miles each year across Southern California, bringing visibility to the effort to eradicate polio forever.

For Mollie, the inspiration behind the Kennel Klub, the trailer represents something truly special.

“Every photo on this trailer tells a story,” Mollie says. “It’s a story of friendship, service, and hope. Together, our members and their pets are helping protect children around the world from a disease that should only exist in history books.”

The trailer stands as a celebration of what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose. It honors every pet wearing an End Polio Now bandana, every Rotarian who has made a donation, every club that has formed a Kennel Klub, and every supporter who believes that no child should ever suffer from polio again.

As the trailer begins its journey across Southern California, we hope you’ll keep an eye out for it on the road. When you see it, know that you’re looking at more than a trailer—you are looking at a rolling symbol of kindness, community, and Rotary’s promise to finish the job.

Together, with our pets by our side, we are making history.

End Polio Now.
