Penny Becomes the Kennel Klub's First Paul Harris Fellow!

Penny poses proudly with her recognition materials.

Penny, (Emerald City Rotary Club), earned this special recognition through a $1,000 gift to The Rotary Foundation, with $1,000 designated to PolioPlus. Penny is also a proud member of the Rotary PolioPlus Society Kennel Klub, where members make an annual commitment of at least $100 to PolioPlus.

Here's the best part... anyone can become a Paul Harris Fellow—and so can any pet!

That's right! Your dog, cat, bird, horse, bunny, or any beloved companion can receive this meaningful Rotary recognition while helping Rotary create a polio-free world.

To become a Paul Harris Fellow, simply make a $1,000 contribution to The Rotary Foundation. If you'd like your pet to also become a member of the Kennel Klub, at least $100 of that $1,000 should be designated to PolioPlus to qualify for Kennel Klub membership.

If you're interested, simply call the Rotary Support Center at 866-976-8279 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Central Time, and they'll happily walk you through the process.

Once your pet becomes a Paul Harris Fellow, they'll receive:

  • An official Rotary International ID number

  • A Paul Harris Fellow pin to proudly wear on their Kennel Klub End Polio Now bandana

  • A beautiful Paul Harris Fellow certificate for you and your pet to cherish for years to come

Congratulations, Penny! Thank you for leading the way and showing all of us that even our four-legged family members can make a lasting impact in Rotary's fight to End Polio Now.

Now... who's going to be the next Paul Harris Fellow in the Kennel Klub?
